The Edgewater Hotel was built in 1962 for the World's Fair.  It remains Seattle's only waterfront hotel with panoramic views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.  In 1964, during their world tour, the Beatles were guests of the Edgewater, and fished from their hotel room.
